 Recipe 119:

Mint chutney dips | Mint Thogayal | Pudina Thogayal . 


Health benefits:


Mint facilitates smoother digestion.Mint's anti-inflammatory properties soothe the swelling and keep the mucous at bay.Mint has umpteen antiviral and antibacterial properties that can keep mild flu and cold. Mint may help cure headaches too.


Ingredients:

Mint-1 bowl with stem,

Cilantro -2 bowl with steam,

Curry leaves -1/2 bowl,

Ginger -2 inch,

Red chili 🌶 -8 to 10,

Tamarind - 20g,

Salt .


For Tempering:


Oil,

Mustard seeds-1 tps,

Fenugreek-1/2 tps,

Red chili 🌶- 3,

Cumins-1/2 tps,


Preparation:

In a nonstick pan add oil then sauté ginger, tamarind, red chili until color change . Change to mixer jar . 

In the same pan add curry leaves and mint leaves , sauté it for 30 sec then add  in mixer jar . Add cilantro , salt and grind it . 




In a pan add oil and Start tempering with above ingredients then add grind thogayal paste . Allow it boil in low flame for 5 mins .. 


Fantastic pudina thogayal ready to serve with idly /dosa /rice ... 


Freshness last for a week if it stored in fridge.
